Terms and Refund Policy

These terms apply to personal licences for the Abe AI Sync Chrome extension offered by Abhishek Pradhan. By purchasing or using a paid licence, you agree to these terms.

1. Product

Abe AI Sync is software that saves supported AI-chat content as local Markdown and creates local navigation files. Provider compatibility and the information available for export vary by provider and may change when a provider changes its website or service.

2. Personal licence

A personal Founder's Lifetime Licence permits one named user to activate Abe AI Sync on up to three personal Chrome installations. The licence is not transferable, may not be shared, resold, sublicensed, or used as a pooled team licence, and may be disabled for fraud, chargeback, refund, abuse, or a material breach of these terms.

3. Meaning of “lifetime”

“Lifetime” means a perpetual licence to the purchased major version, including all version 1.x updates made available to licence holders. It does not promise every future major version, a specific number of years of updates, cloud storage, Obsidian Sync, or continued availability of any third-party AI service.

4. Trial and payment

The extension may provide a seven-day trial without a payment card. Paid access is sold as a one-time digital-software purchase through the displayed payment provider. Taxes, currency conversion, receipts, and payment processing are handled by that provider under its own terms.

5. Refunds

You may request a refund within 14 calendar days after purchase by emailing abe@pipelineedge.in from the purchase email address and including the order number. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method where the payment provider supports it. The refunded licence will be deactivated.

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights that apply to you.

6. Your responsibilities

Use Abe AI Sync only with accounts and content you are authorized to access.
Review the rules of each AI provider and your obligations concerning confidential, personal, client, employer, or regulated information.
Secure and back up your selected folder and licence key.
Do not attempt to bypass licence, access, security, or usage controls.

7. Third-party services

Abe AI Sync is independent and is not endorsed by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Perplexity, Obsidian, or their affiliates. Those services remain subject to their own terms, availability, and privacy practices.

8. Availability and changes

Reasonable efforts will be made to maintain supported version 1.x integrations, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. Features may be changed or retired for security, legal, provider-compatibility, or product-maintenance reasons. Material licence-scope changes will not retroactively remove the perpetual version 1 licence already purchased.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The software is provided on an “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. You are responsible for reviewing exported files and maintaining backups. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, liability arising from the software will not exceed the amount you paid for the licence, except where such a limitation is prohibited.
